Satellite Development

From PDPA

Jump to: navigation, search

On a grass roots level, the PDPA is a platform for people to network and market decorative painting to the public and other building trades industries. Starting a PDPA Satellite is like starting a local marketing group to host exhibitions, fundraisers, and other events that will get members more leads to prospective clients.

Online you will find a section of the website specifically dedicated to starting a Satellite. This section will have a marketing statement, step by step procedures, pre-made documents and resources to help you get started. Contact Andre Martinez to see how you can become part of the PDPA leadership community.

Satellite focus

The PDPA local Satellites focus on pooled marketing and networking. The focus is to assist in the acquisition of jobs for our members. We do this by banding to gether in marketing efforts and hosting public decorative painting exhibitions.

Value statement

Having developed a set of industry specific Education Standards, the PDPA enables the Decorative Painting Professional to clearly demonstrate the precise level of their expertise in any given specialty. For the first time in the history of Decorative painting, a decorator in Des Moines or an Architect in Albany can specify a finish for Fresno and find a local Professional Applicator capable of completing the work. The PDPA will be marketing their membership, locally and nationally, to expose the most capable finishers to the highest levels of specifiers.
